What better way to welcome spring than with a Spring Break Scavenger Hunt for local little learners?
We couldn’t help but want to try it ourselves, so we visited the Poulsbo branch of Kitsap Regional Library and did our own sleuthing in search of book-reading animals hidden throughout the Library. Each animal had a letter clue, which we used to answer a riddle with the goal of earning a prize!
While we opted out of the prize selection, we were honored to see your gifts at work and the dozens of take-home books that prize winners could select from. Through your generosity, the Library is able to boost its programming to broaden awareness and participation throughout the community, ensuring more books are available to read –not just at the library- but in local homes.
We thank you for your enduring love of the Library and for your dedication to supporting literacy in Kitsap. With every book given, there begins another chapter in a story of lifelong learning and a love of reading.
